Overview

Objective

The School of Acturial gives you the tools that will make you a specialist in planning and protection against certain risks. On the one hand, you gain a broad and deep knowledge of mathematics, statistics, probability, information, analysis and treatment of risk. You become familiar with the economic, legal, financial and accounting profession.

In addition to acquiring the concepts and basic principles, you will develop general skills to practice, such as problem solving, creativity, sense of ethics, autonomy, efficiency and the ability to to communicate.

During the final year of study, you will be able to focus your training specifically to the risks of life, the risk of damage (fire, accident and miscellaneous risks), financial risks, risks or collective schemes retirement.

Abilities

Loving skills in mathematics, statistics and computer science, being prepared to  analyze and compare data and infer probabilities.

You will need to:

Opportunity

Insurance companies and advisors firms remain the main employers. Furthermore, actuaries intervention in non-traditional areas is increasingly in demand, especially in the areas of investments, risk management and financial planning.
