Overview

Social and Cultural Development

The Faculty of forestry, geography and geomatics territory prepares and team students to participate in the economic, social and cultural development of society. Research cover a multitude of areas such as, the knowledge of the territory, and the social aspects of its occupation; and more specifically the research in forest biology, passing through wood, Geomatics Hydrometeorology and farming etc.

Practical studies are off-campus in forests and other interests of studies on sites targeted by the teachers.

DEGREES


The baccalaureate in forest management and environment gives access to the profession of forest engineer. This training will allow you to participate in the sustainable development of the forest, the management and protection of the environment, the enhancement of wildlife habitats as well as the regeneration and improvement of the forest.



The Certificate in Sustainable Development is a multidisciplinary program that covers the three areas of sustainable development, namely the environment, the economy and society.



The Masters in Agroforestry will allow you to acquire knowledge about the ecological, socio-economic and cultural aspects of tropical and temperate agroforestry.



The Doctorate in Forest Sciences will give you the innovation and development of sustainable practices in forestry. This training accelerates the advancement of knowledge on scientific, technical and economic issues and on the sustainable management of forests, land and the environment.
